When should I open my pool in Ontario?
Most homeowners open between late April and mid-May, depending on the weather. We recommend booking early — our spring schedule fills up fast. We'll handle everything from cover removal to chemical balancing so it's swim-ready.
When should I close my pool for winter?
Typically mid-September to mid-October, once water temperatures drop below 15°C consistently. Closing at the right time prevents algae buildup and protects your equipment from freeze damage.
Do you service pools you didn't install?
Yes. While we prioritize Earthworks and Waterworks clients, we do take on select new clients depending on location and capacity. Give us a call to check availability in your area.
What's included in a pool opening / closing?
Opening: Cover removal, equipment reconnection and start-up, water level adjustment, chemical treatment, and system inspection. Closing: Water level lowering, line blowing and winterizing, chemical treatment, equipment shutdown, and secure cover installation.
Do you repair pool equipment like pumps and heaters?
Yes. Our team services and repairs pumps, heaters, filters, salt chlorine generators, automation systems, and more. If a replacement is needed, we'll walk you through your options honestly — no upselling.
